The Lift Letter, also known as a Lift Note, is a second, smaller letter that can be inserted into a direct mail package along with the main letter to increase response. It’s usually signed by someone other than the person who signs the main letter. For example, it could be the company president, a celebrity endorser, or in the case of a fundraising package, it could be the president of the association or someone who could benefit from your donation.
